Announcements for the week of January 3rd

Parent’s Night Out on Friday, January 8th, 6:00 - 9:00pm.  Faith Lutheran School’s parent organization Parent, Teacher, Friends or PTF will be hosting a night off for parents.  You may drop your toddler to school age child off for them to enjoy an evening of fun with a light dinner, movie, crafts and games.  The theme is Pajamas.  Text Tina Henry at 240-0623 to sign up, volunteer, or for more information.

Craft Day is January 9th, 10:00am - 2:00pm.  A time for the ladies to enjoy a devotion and work on a craft project.  This month’s theme is Pinterest.  Look up a new project on Pinterest to try or bring any other project you want to work on.  Snacks will be provided.  Contact Claire Zarnstorff for more information at 792-9688 or alaskimo731@gmail.com.

Chili Cook Off and Silent Auction!  On January 15th at 6:00pm bring your best chili to see how it rates against all the others.  Does your chili have beef, caribou, chicken or moose?  Is it mild or could it be used as fire starter? Well we want to try it and see how good it is.  Don’t have a great recipe? Don’t worry, just come enjoy all the great chili that will be presented.
During the evening there will also be a silent auction to benefit the Sprinkler Fund.  The next phase of the sprinkler project is due this summer and it’s time to raise the funds to support it.
To sign up your chili or to donate an item for the auction, contact Jed Else at  Jedediah.j.else@gmail.com.

The start of 2016 brings new offering envelopes.  Please look for yours in the front entry.  If you would like offering envelopes for yourself please contact the office at office@FaithAlaska.com
