Announcements from Sunday, June 28th

Church Work Nights
Thank you to all those who worked, provided materials and meals for the work nights.  What a blessing to have so many members willing to get their hands dirty.  We were able to accomplish many of the planned tasks.  Watch for more projects to be posted in the Fellowship Hall.

Installation Services
There is salmon to be caught and camping to be done.  To allow time to enjoy the outdoors, the installation of the Church Leaders and Sunday School Teachers has been moved to July 18th and 19th.

Miss Mittlestadt Welcome
Melissa Mittlestadt should arrive in Anchorage on July 7th.   Come meet our new preschool director during Bible Study on July 12th and enjoy a potluck breakfast, Muffins with Miss Mittlestadt.  A sign up sheet is located in the Fellowship Hall.
Miss Mittlestadt’s installation service is in the planning stages.  It will most likely be in August to allow time for family and friends to attend.

Bible Camp at Camp Luther
The theme for camp is: The Lord’s Avengers
Camp opens up July 12th from 3-5pm for registration and ends on Friday July 17th at 6pm with a program around the campfire.  Area WELS kids entering the 3rd through 8th grades are invited to attend and may bring a friend.
Sneak Peak Camp is July 15th.  This is a day camp for Kindergarten through 2nd grade.  It is a great way to get introduced to the camp experience.
It is not too late to register on-line at CampLutherAK.com.  Older kids can sign up for camp counselors as well.

 Soccer Camp
“He dribbles, he shoots, he scores! GOOOOOOOAL!!!”  Faith Lutheran is hosting our first ever Soccer Camp. This is a great chance for kids to get active and learn about our Lord at the same time.  Camp is open to all children in Preschool to 8th grade. Older kids and teens can help with supervising the activities.   We’ll be getting together at Abbott Loop Community Park on July 27-29th from 9am-Noon. Registration at FaithAlaska.com.  If you would be able to help out in any way, please let Pastor Chris know!
